Special Agent Applicant at FBI

April 2002 - January 2003

I am including my pursuit of employment with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for the position of Special Agent because it was a wonderful process and time in my life. Based on the online application, the most competitive candidates are the only ones contacted and scheduled for Phase I Testing. I was selected. The candidates receive a letter stating whether they passed or failed Phase I Testing. Actual test scores are not disseminated. The Phase I tests measure critical skills and abilities that are essential to performing tasks of the Special Agent position. These are: Biodata Inventory - (I Passed) Logical Reasoning Test - (I Passed) Situational Judgment Test - (I Passed) Biodata Inventory The Biodata Inventory measures the following critical skills and abilities: Initiative and motivation Relating effectively with others Critical thinking and information evaluation/judgment and decision making Maintaining a positive image View the actual directions and sample questions from the Biodata Inventory portion of Phase I.
